Simba and Kink are not thrilled with the shorter days. I don't allow them to stay outdoors too long in the dark because of the wildlife threats that could be lerking. One positive note is that there are no birds singing at 4:15 am so the boys sleep longer now.
We certainly hope that we can meet you, Kate and Kevin, when you return. It has been a pleasure to have the lions because they are so sweet, loving and mellow. We are sure it is a reflection of their owners. They kind of take after Jason too. Except they don't have that wild streak. Hah! We were first introduced to Simba and Kink in May and we can't believe how quickly the time has passed. We'll let you know when the boys transfer to Jason's again.
